GGV EVG CAPITAL

Modern and functional served as the driving guideline in our design approach towards creating a coworking space for GGV and EVG. As investment firms that work with start-ups, the shared workspace was designed with an eye to present a professional and premium facade, alongside a youthful outlook that reflects the demographic of their associates.

The extensive application of wooden touches in the reception area, pantry and meeting rooms lend a sense of warmth and provide a welcoming effect to the shared spaces, commonly used to host external clients. Marble and terrazzo were also used for the reception counter to convey a professional contrast with the warm wooden touches. Hints of wood and dark bronze finishes can also be spotted in the ceilings and structures present in the office.

Natural lighting is also inculcated into the office design plan, in particular for the conference and meeting rooms which are specifically enclosed with transparent glass panels to create an airy atmosphere. This serves to take good advantage of nature in bettering the mental and physical health of employees.

The successful incorporation of two separate brand identities into a single, cohesive design scheme was not without its challenges. During the course of this project, we had to constantly keep in mind that GGV and EVG occupy 70% and 30% of the space respectively and come up with a feasible design plan that is inclusive of both companies. Fortunately, we managed to keep all hiccups under control and meet the differing requirements of both companies and their desired outcome.
