The first thing that guests will notice when they step into Tayrona's office is spacious reception area accompanied by the extensive use of intricate marbling throughout the space. The soft colour scheme seen here is strategically inculcated to present a vibrant yet elegant image of the company.
The same airy atmosphere gleaned in the reception area is replicated throughout the office. This is largely achieved through the use of transparent floor to ceiling glass panels for the conference and meeting rooms to allow natural light into the office then radiated throughout the space. The tactical placement of ceiling lights and standing lamps is also done to imbue the office with a lush effect that is consistent with the company's design theme.
A notable design element lies in how the seating areas of the office are categorically marked by carpeted sections instead of exposed marble tiles. Not only does this help to indicate where the seating areas are, it also prevents the ground from any potential scratches or damage caused by the dragging of chairs and tables. For this reason, marble flooring is mainly limited to the reception and visitor-based areas.
Overall, the new Tayrona office can be seen to provide a luxurious experience by incorporating a predominantly bright colour palette with ample lighting and an open space concept.
